Producion KOLLAA AASI

Saarnat kirjoitettu järviin, metsän uumeniin, jylhiin vuorten rinteisiin,
saarnat on painautuneet  kelta-valko- mustiin ihmiskasvoihin kärsineisiin.

Final result of my cutting and glueing project.. At this point I hadn´t realized that would be smart to also write down the origins of these photos.. Well, anyhow!
I like the way I think in a new way when working with cutting and glueing. I felt like I managed to approach some "political"/ societal problematic issues  very much easier than I do with drawing, painting or photography only. I really enjoyed this project, alltough I do understand how disturbing problems deepfakes, video and photomanipulation are, when used for actual manipulation, controlling people, changing nyanches in narratives. Manipulation techniques have gone so far that now anyone can appear as anyone else and use anyones voice, face and everything and simply add them to appear somewhere else. It can be really ugly when used for provoking war by spreading disinformational photomaterial, stealing identity and using someones face for nasty things,  blackmaling people etc.. Possibilities for doing evil exist in so many areas in life and many of those things can also be used for good, beautiful, practical things.. I personally see morally and ethically deep taught photomanipulation  to be a great tool for artists and humans in general. What an interesting way  express yourself, entertain each other. I see infinite possibilities for movie effects, interesting drawings, animations, music videos, just artwork in general. It can be helpful tool for educational purposes, for example creating visuals for things how they could be or how they are in  theory.
